CATCH ME IF YOU CAN POD
Is your child falling more and more behind in their academic goals? Is your school reducing the rigor of work for your child, claiming covid learning loss to justify your student falling behind their grade level capabilities? MAVLAB can catch your child up to grade level quickly and in many cases, move them beyond. In the Catch Me if You Can Pod, we work with all levels of learners, no matter how far behind they may be in grade level. We believe all of our students are great learners and have abilities to claim and surpass their potential to achieve set goals. The Catch Me if You Can Learning Pod encourages learning while developing a student’s confidence and shows that learning can be fun.
BREAKTHROUGH POD
Is your child bright, but bored in traditional learning settings? Do you have a growing concern with the school system reducing academic standards and not challenging your student’s advanced abilities and academic curiosity? By enrolling in the Breakthrough Learning Pod, you can expect your student to be academically challenged while they embark on a rigorous journey of learning and deep curiosity. Our coaches understand young bright, gifted student minds and see no limits. We work to challenge them, even by presenting college level challenges.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE POD
Is your child a gifted, top-performing athlete? Does the traditional eight hour day of schooling inhibit your student from their athletic pursuits? If excelling outside of the classroom, on the field or in the gym, is their dream and goal, MAVLAB is here to support your young athlete. Within the High Performance pod we develop an academic program which succinctly covers core curriculum in depth, and all in a two and a half hour learning time frame. Your student athlete stays focused on academics so they have more time later to train for their chosen sport. For older student athletes, preparation and testing strategies for the SAT and other college entrance exams are introduced.
ENROLLMENT LOGISTICS AND PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Learning Pods meet Monday - Thursday from 4pm - 6:30pm each week. Students will work in up to four different subject areas depending on the day’s programming. (Programming is the learning map for each single day session and changes daily.) Subject areas include (but are not limited to) Math, Grammar, Writing, Spelling, Geography, Typing, Reading and Comprehension, Research skills, Science, Public Speaking, and Presentation.
Weekend sessions are available from 9:30-11:45am but must be pre-approved and are based on availability.
If you and your student decide to continue learning at MAVLAB, tuition for the complete 90 day learning session and are due on the first day of session. All Learning Pods are currently priced at the same rate.
